Binho announces its participation in the MIPI Alliance Physical AI Birds of a Feather (BoF) group, bringing standards development experience and hands-on implementation expertise from its Intelligent Systems and Robotics business unit to address interface challenges in the emerging physical AI market.
The decision reflects Binho's dual position in the industry: active standards contributors through the I3C and IO Bridges working groups, and hands-on implementers building physical AI devices for clients across wearables and robotics applications.
Real-World Implementation Experience Meets Standards Development
Binho's participation builds on existing MIPI Alliance involvement, where Founder and CEO Jonathan Georgino serves as Co-Vice Chair of both the I3C and IO Bridges working groups.
Through consulting work, Binho has encountered recurring interface challenges that standardization could address. Wired connections through robotic joints fail from repeated movements. Bandwidth requirements escalate as devices collect more raw sensor data for training. Long-distance camera data transmission and digital protocol aggregation across multiple low-speed buses represent gaps current standards don't address.
Representing Multiple Implementer Perspectives
Binho's consulting model provides a different vantage point, representing multiple client use cases across different robotics applications rather than a single company's requirements.
That breadth creates a feedback loop between standards development and real-world deployment, validating whether a specific need is one company's edge case or an industry-wide requirement worth standardizing.

Participation in the BoF group also positions Binho ahead of the curve in an accelerating market.
