Intelligent Systems & Robotics

We build the systems behind the products people rely on.

Binho provides contract engineering services: PCB design, embedded firmware, wireless systems, compliance testing, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain setup. We work with startups and established companies in robotics, IoT, industrial automation, and consumer electronics.

We've designed electronics for autonomous agricultural equipment, robotics for elder care, commercial UAVs, industrial sensors, and factory test fixtures. We handle projects from initial concept sketches through prototype, regulatory compliance (FCC/CE/RoHS), manufacturing setup, and supply chain qualification for production volumes from dozens to hundreds of thousands of units.

When to Call Us

We handle projects where hardware and firmware need to work together, pass compliance testing, and scale to production.

Our Services

Common Client Scenarios

End-to-end product design and manufacturing support

Hardware and firmware co-design from day one

DFM review and production scaling for existing designs

Custom test equipment and production fixtures development

We also design and manufacture USB protocol analyzers and I2C/I3C host adapters used by 175+ engineering teams worldwide in the semiconductor and embedded systems industry. This keeps us current on what actually works in production.

How We Work

We design for production from day one.

Most hardware projects fail between prototype and manufacturing. We avoid this by designing for real constraints from the start: component availability, assembly tolerances, test coverage, power budget, thermal limits, and certification requirements.

Design for Manufacturing

Part selection considers lead times, second sources, and assembly complexity. We review every design with CM/EMS partners before finalizing.

Test During Development

We build test points, JTAG access, and diagnostic modes into hardware and firmware. Production test fixtures are designed alongside the product, not after.

Document for Handoff

We deliver complete design packages: schematics, layout files, BOMs with approved vendors, test procedures, and manufacturing instructions.

Own the Outcome

We stay involved through the first production run to catch issues before they become expensive problems.

Track Record

Our credibility comes from what we've built and shipped.

Our Products

We develop and support USB protocol analyzers and I2C/I3C host adapters used by semiconductor companies and hardware engineering teams worldwide. We're MIPI Alliance members and contribute to the I3C specification. Our tools are used for protocol validation, compliance testing, and hardware bring-up.

Our Global Team

We run a distributed engineering team across San Francisco, Latin America, and Europe.

Our engineers work directly with your team - whether you need someone embedded in your organization or a dedicated remote team. We handle multi-domain projects (electronics, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing) by coordinating specialists across time zones while maintaining clear ownership and accountability.

This model lets us deliver complex projects efficiently: designing electronics for a robotic platform, validating communication protocols, or building production test automation - without the overhead of a large local firm.

We're based in San Francisco, so we understand Silicon Valley product development expectations, but our global team means we can move fast and keep costs reasonable.
