Mechanical Engineering & Industrial Design

We design enclosures, mechanical assemblies, and production-ready parts. Everything we design can actually be manufactured at your target volume and cost. Our mechanical engineers coordinate closely with our electronics and firmware teams—or yours—so the design integrates properly. No last-minute surprises about where the antenna goes or how the board mounts.

Overview

We design enclosures, mechanical assemblies, and production-ready parts. Everything we design can actually be manufactured at your target volume and cost. Our mechanical engineers coordinate closely with our electronics and firmware teams—or yours—so the design integrates properly. No last-minute surprises about where the antenna goes or how the board mounts.

Mechanical design done in isolation causes problems. The enclosure doesn't fit the board, the buttons don't align with the switches, the thermal path doesn't work. We coordinate across disciplines from day one so everything fits together the first time.

What We Deliver

  • CAD design (Fusion 360, SolidWorks)
  • Tolerance stack-up and assembly design
  • Rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC)
  • Enclosure design and DFM analysis
  • Material selection and finish specification
  • Manufacturing drawings and documentation
  • Mechanical-electrical integration support for embedded systems

How We Approach This

Mechanical design doesn't happen in isolation. We coordinate with electronics layout for mounting holes, thermal considerations, and connector placement. We work with your manufacturing partner on draft angles, wall thickness, and tooling constraints.

Every part we design includes proper tolerancing and GD&T for consistent production at any qualified factory. We prototype early with 3D printing and CNC to validate fit and function before committing to tooling. When the injection-molded parts arrive, they work.
