Binho I3C Handsfree Probe Pack

Instrumenting an I3C bus is one of the most common challenges developers face, and a question we hear often from customers. Developed in partnership with Sensepeek, makers of the PCBite line of handsfree probes, the Binho I3C Handsfree Probe Pack brings a best-in-class debugging experience to I3C circuits with the first low-capacitive bidirectional handsfree probe: a passive 1:1 probe tailored to I3C with a total capacitive load under 45 pF at 12.5 MHz.

It interfaces elegantly with the Binho Supernova and Saleae Logic to save time and frustration during development, verification, and rework. No more soldering wires to connect your probe or complicated tools to set up: position the probe needle on any test point or component in the signal path and release. The SQ-series probes can also be used handheld thanks to their insulated grip, but their full potential is realized when measuring handsfree.

The pack supports bidirectional I3C communication up to 3.12 MHz open-drain, up to 12.5 MHz push-pull from 2.5 to 3.3 V, and up to 10 MHz push-pull at 1.8 V. It includes adapter boards for direct connection to the Binho Supernova I3C ports and to the Saleae Logic Pro 8 / Pro 16 digital inputs, and is designed and tested with the Supernova and with Saleae Logic via the Binho I3C Analyzer plugin.

This kit includes the probes, cables, and adapters, but omits the base plate and PCB holders. It is ideal for users who already have a PCBite base plate and want to supplement it with these probes. The probes have magnets in their bases and must sit on a metal base plate to operate correctly; PCBite PCB holders are strongly recommended, as PCB stability is critical to success. Target applications include handsfree solderless debugging, firmware development and verification, proof-of-concept development, and automated HW/FW testing.
