XyphroLabs USBGpib V2
The USBGpib V2 provides modern USBTMC connectivity for legacy GPIB instruments, offering a reliable, compact, and future-proof solution for test and measurement automation. Designed and developed in Germany over six years, this adapter has been extensively tested across instruments from new to decades-old, ensuring robust compatibility and operation.
With its slim 1.5 cm profile and thin USB cabling, the USBGpib V2 dramatically reduces bench clutter compared to traditional "garden hose" GPIB cables. Each adapter includes a unique identifier, allowing multiple units to be connected and operated reliably on the same PC without port mapping issues.
The adapter implements full IEEE-488.2 support via USBTMC, including status byte reading, triggering, service requests, and termination settings. It works seamlessly with all standard VISA providers (NI VISA, Rohde & Schwarz VISA, Keysight VISA) and integrates fully with LabVIEW, MATLAB, PyVISA, and PyVISA-py. Cross-platform support includes Windows, macOS, FreeBSD, and Linux.
Official XyphroLabs Product: This is the genuine USBGpib V2 from XyphroLabs. Your purchase directly supports the ongoing development and maintenance of this open-source project.
