Version 4.2.1 of the Binho I3C Basic Protocol Analyzer Plugin for Saleae Logic is here, with improved HDR-BT mode decoding, plus new support for multi-lane transfers and MCTP-over-I3C decoding.
Enhanced HDR-BT decoding. We've sharpened how the analyzer reads HDR-BT (High Data Rate, Bulk Transport) traffic, so bulk-transport transactions are cleaner to follow and easier to validate directly in your Logic captures.
Multi-lane transfer support. New in 4.2.1, the analyzer now decodes multi-lane I3C transfers, so you can capture and analyze higher-throughput multi-lane traffic right alongside the rest of your bus activity.
MCTP-over-I3C decoding. Two new I3C Transactions HLA options to decode MCTP over I3C, per the DMTF DSP0233 v1.0.1 binding. MCTP Packets surfaces each I3C transaction's packet header — SOM/EOM flags, sequence number, message tag, and source/destination EIDs — along with the payload bytes, while MCTP Messages reassembles a complete message from its first (SOM) to last (EOM) packet. It also emits incomplete-message, sequence-error, and pending-read-notification frame types, and verifies PEC as CRC-8/SMBus over the I3C address and packet bytes.
