Binho Atira is here. Atira is an all-in-one development tool that puts the target embedded system under software control. Debug, programming, programmable power with real-time voltage, current, and power monitoring, level shifting on every pin, and an observable serial console, all in one device. It's available to order now for $299.
Bringing up a board has always meant a stack of separate tools: a debugger, a bench supply, a meter for current, level shifters for low-voltage parts, and a USB-UART cable for the console. Atira replaces that stack with one device that software can drive end to end.
It debugs any Arm Cortex-M over SWD and JTAG, with SWO trace and RTT. It programs on-chip flash, plus external SPI flash and EEPROM at up to 24 MHz. It powers the target from 1.2 to 5.0 V, power-cycles it on command, and shows exactly what the firmware draws while you work. And its serial bridge shows up as two virtual COM ports: one drives the UART, the other is a read-only tap that mirrors every byte.
That observable console reflects where embedded development is heading. Atira is driverless and built on CMSIS-DAP v2, so it works with pyOCD, OpenOCD, and CMSIS-DAP-aware IDEs, as well as Mission Control and our CosmicSDK for Python, C/C#/C++, and Java on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Because every function is scriptable, a CI job or a coding agent can flash firmware, drive debug, watch serial traffic, and monitor power without anyone at the bench.
From interactive debugging to automated test to agentic diagnostics, Atira fits every stage of modern embedded development. See it in action on the Explore Atira page.
