Binho Atira

$299.00 SKU: BIN109
Ships on November 9th, 2026

More than just an SWD/JTAG debug probe, the Binho Atira puts the target embedded system under software control, from programmable downstream power with real-time voltage/current/power monitoring to an enhanced serial console, and built-in level shifting across 1.2 to 5.0 V.

The Binho Atira is an all-in-one development tool for modern embedded developers. It debugs over SWD, JTAG, SWO, and RTT, programs SPI flash and EEPROM at up to 24 MHz, and bridges an enhanced UART console, with integrated level shifting and configurable downstream power featuring real-time voltage, current, and power monitoring. Together these enable highly-productive workflows legacy tools cannot facilitate, and automated test and coding agents can drive Atira on their own, so teams ship better hardware, faster.

Atira connects with our Mission Control desktop GUI software for a point-and-click experience and is fully supported by our CosmicSDK for integrations with Python, C/C#/C++, and Java, all fully cross-platform for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The device comes with a modern USB Type-C connector and 5× RGB LEDs for visual status indication, all in a compact, machined-aluminum enclosure with integrated mounting holes.

// highlight

A probe for modern workflows.

From interactive debugging to automated test to agentic diagnostics, Atira fits every stage of modern development, from benchtop bring-up to mass production.

// debug

Debug any Arm Cortex-M.

SWD and JTAG with SWO trace and Real-Time Transfer (RTT), so stepping through code, watching live variables, and capturing event streams all run from Atira.

// program

Flash in seconds.

Program on-chip flash over SWD and JTAG, plus external SPI flash and EEPROM at up to 24 MHz, with read, write, verify, and erase.

// power

Power under software control.

A programmable 1.2 to 5.0 V supply feeds the target and power-cycles it on command, so bring-up and CI reset the hardware without reaching for a cable.

// measure

Real-time power insight.

Live voltage, current, and power on the target supply, streamed during debug, to show exactly what the firmware draws.

// level shift

Matches any logic level.

Bidirectional level shifting from 1.2 to 5.0 V on every line, so a modern low-voltage part wires straight to the probe with nothing extra on the bench.

// observe

An observable console.

Atira shows up as two virtual COM ports: one drives the target, one is a read-only tap that mirrors the traffic, so scripts and coding agents can observe every byte for diagnostics and reverse engineering.

// interfaces

A complete interface to the target.

From debug and trace to programming, serial, and a measured power rail, Atira covers the full connection to the hardware.

Debug

SWD + JTAG
  • SWD and JTAG for Arm Cortex-M
  • Flash and verify MCUs for production
  • Run control: halt, step, breakpoints, watchpoints
  • Works with pyOCD, OpenOCD, and CMSIS-DAP-aware IDEs
  • SWO trace and Real-Time Transfer (RTT)
  • Cross-platform: Windows, macOS, and Linux

SPI Programming

SPI Flash & EEPROM
  • External SPI flash and EEPROM via a 24 MHz SPI controller
  • Configurable SPI mode and clock rate
  • Arbitrary SPI transfers to any device
  • Read, write, verify, and erase
  • Scriptable for production and CI programming

UART Bridge

Dual-port serial
  • Full-duplex USB-UART bridge (CDC-ACM)
  • Up to 2 Mbaud, optional RTS/CTS flow control
  • Two virtual COM ports: one to drive, one to monitor
  • Read-only tap for logging, diagnostics, reverse engineering, and coding agents

Downstream Power

1.2 to 5.0 V
  • Source or reference downstream voltage, 1.2 to 5.0 V
  • Real-time voltage, current, and power monitoring
  • Software power-cycling on command
  • Bidirectional level shifting referenced to the rail

// hardware

Made for real work.

A robust, machined-aluminum instrument built to live on the bench and drop into production fixtures.

Binho Atira kit with carry case, cables, adapters, and probe

// enclosure

Machined aluminum.

CNC-machined enclosure with two M3 mounting holes and fasteners included.

// status

5× RGB status LEDs.

Device mode, operating state, and bus activity, visible across the bench.

// firmware

Easy firmware updates.

New capabilities load over USB, so the probe keeps improving over time.

// connection

USB-C, driverless.

USB 2.0 Full-Speed, bus-powered, driverless on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

// software

From point-and-click to mass production.

Open the GUI for exploratory testing. Reach for Python to automate. Drop the SDK into the test stack when shipping product. It also works with pyOCD, OpenOCD, and CMSIS-DAP-aware IDEs.

// toolchains

Open toolchains.

Built on open CMSIS-DAP v2, so pyOCD, OpenOCD, and CMSIS-DAP-aware IDEs work out of the box, driverless and vendor-neutral.

// gui

Mission Control.

A cross-platform, point-and-click GUI for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Flash, debug, and run transactions with no code.
