Binho Supernova
The multi-protocol USB host adapter built for I3C-era hardware development — full MIPI I3C v1.2 support, plus I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO in a single machined-aluminum tool.
The Binho Supernova USB Host Adapter lets you interface your computer directly to hardware circuits. Featuring support for MIPI I3C Protocol v1.0, v1.1.1, and v1.2, plus a modern USB Type-C connection, 5× RGB LEDs for visual status, and a variety of DUT-facing connections — all in a compact, machined-aluminum enclosure with integrated mounting holes.
Beyond I3C, Supernova communicates on I2C, SPI, and UART. All four protocols run on dedicated pins and can operate simultaneously. A dedicated bank of 6× digital GPIO pins handles interrupts, resets, and chip selects.
// highlight
Built for MIPI I3C.
Supernova supports the spec end-to-end — controller and target, every CCC, IBI, and Hot-Join, down to the 0.8 V rails that modern silicon actually uses.
// spec version
v1.0. v1.1.1. v1.2.
Supports every published I3C Basic revision, including the latest v1.2, so your tool stays current with the spec.
// both roles
Controller or Target.
Drive an I3C bus as the controller, or attach as a target to validate controllers and silicon — same hardware, same software.
// full features
IBI. Hot-Join. Every CCC.
In-Band Interrupts, Hot-Join, and every Common Command Code in the spec. SDR mode and HDR-DDR mode. No artificial subset.
// voltage range
0.8 V to 3.3 V.
Wide voltage range covers modern low-voltage silicon down to 0.8 V — the rails that other adapters can't reach.
// multi-protocol
One tool. Every protocol.
Run I3C, I2C, SPI, and UART simultaneously — on dedicated pins, with a bank of GPIO for everything else.
